Winteb receives DNV certification for the Liquid Mud Valve product range

DNV certification for LMV product range
Winschoten- Initially designed and development on request of a Brazilian customer, Winteb’s Liquid Mud Valve turned out to be also very successful in Norway. Logical result was the request to have it type approved under DNV certification.
A quick flight to Norway
Due to the large amount of LMV orders that were placed in the meantime, it was decided that Winteb needed the type approval under Det Norske Veritas classification as soon as possible.
Winteb’s Senior Partner Mr. Ide van der Velde didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately put everything into progress and contacted DNV Norway directly. The required tests were performed by Hochshule Bremen and the outcomes were all more than satisfactory. With the fresh test results and the accompanying drawings of the Liquid Mud Valve, van der Velde booked a return flight to Oslo straight away.
Approval in only a matter of time
After checking all of the documentation, DNV approved and classified Winteb’s LMV as a qualitative and reliable product, according to their standards. All of this happened in a few hours, so Mr van der Velde’s visit to Norway went by in a wink of an eye; “ I have never had such a quick visit to Norway, with such a fast result. It proves again that Winteb is designing and manufacturing products of the highest quality and performance.”
